Alafia - BDSA soap

Meet our first soap designed to support the Black Down Syndrome Association. "Alafia" is the Yoruba word for "peace." 20% of each sale will be donated to the BDSA to support their advocacy efforts. 

These soaps make a great gift for Down syndrome families, teachers, therapists, doctors, and more, and 20% of your purchase will be donated to the BDSA.

"The Black Down Syndrome Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Black families with the resources and support they need for their loved ones with Down Syndrome.

"Founded in 2022 by two Black mothers who have Black sons with Down Syndrome, the organization works to create a culturally competent, safe space for Black families and their loved ones with Down Syndrome."

All Honey Paw soaps are handmade in small batches using the cold process method. Our base recipe includes olive oil, coconut oil, lard, shea butter, and castor oil.
