The "Poop" Problem in 3D Printing

Are you a 3D printing enthusiast in the DFW area? Drowning in printer poop, failed prints, spaghetti nests, and purge lines? You’re not alone—and you’re not without options.

While a few facilities recycle 3D printing waste, the high cost of shipping often makes it unrealistic for individuals and small businesses. That’s where we come in.

Let’s Turn Trash Into Filament—Together

With your help, we can launch a local recycling program powered by an industrial plastic shredder and filament extruder. Here's how it works:

  • You bring in your 3D printing waste—poop, supports, purge lines, and failed prints.
  • We recycle it into new filament.
  • You get recycled filament and discounts.
  • We all reduce plastic waste and make 3D printing more sustainable.

It’s More Than Recycling. It’s a Movement.

This project is just the beginning. Our long-term goal is to open a fully inclusive makerspace—one that creates jobs, training, and community for people with disabilities. We already have the space and the passion. What we need is the funding to bring the recycling equipment home.

When you support this project, you're not just solving a plastic problem. You’re helping build a place where everyone can make, belong, and thrive.
